A new and exciting approach to hunting in Africa has been established through a new Joint Venture where Jacques Hartzenberg owner of Chapungu Safaris and Jumbo Moore owner of Kambako Safaris joined forces with 4 of Namibia’s most well known and respected Professional Hunters: Uys Schickerling, Pieter ‘Kandas’ de Lange, Louis Kotze and Herman Coetzee. Our vision is to create a ‘one-stop-hunting safari-service’ for all our clients that wish to hunt in some of the largest and best hunting concessions in Southern Africa, which includes Namibia, Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Pieter ‘Kandas’ de Lange

Pieter was born in Marienthal Namibia. Since a very young age he has been an avid hunter and loves the outdoors.  After completing a 3-year wine growing and agricultural degree at the university of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa, he moved back to Namibia to help his family establish Lapa Lange Game Lodge. This move confirmed his desire to be part of the Namibian hunting industry.  In 2007 he joined the Omujeve Hunting Safaris team as a Professional Hunter. Pieter’s life long dream and passion became a reality when he qualified as big game Professional Hunter in 2012.  Pieter joins the Chapungu-Kambako Namibia Safari team in December 2014.

Stefanie Inge Giersch - Office manager

Stefanie was born in Windhoek Namibia and grew up in Swakopmund where she also matriculated. She is from German descended and speaks German, English and Afrikaans fluently. Stefanie moved to Cape Town, South Africa where she studied fashion design as well as photography, but her passion for the outdoors soon took over. She then exchanged the city life for the bush where she worked on different hunting concessions, even so far as in Canada, taking care of clients, entertainment and food management. She started hunting herself almost 3 years ago, but fell in love with it immediately. Stefanie joined Chapungu-Kambako in February 2015 and she will run the Namibian office from Windhoek.
