The Caprivi Strip

The Caprivi is considered by many as the most beautiful region in Namibia. Lush woodland forests, wetlands, rivers and deltas all forms part of a unique and exceptionally beautiful landscape.   Here we have access to three of the best hunting concessions in the eastern Caprivi namely Salambala, Kabulabula and Lusese. Two of the concessions are situated on the banks of the Chobe River and neighbors the Chobe National Park located in Botswana. This northeastern region plays host to a variety of both plains and big game species as well as an abundance of bird life. Elephants, Cape buffalo, Nile crocodile and hippopotamus are spread out in large numbers. Due to the size and landscape of this region areas are scouted both by hunting vehicles and boats. Plains game species that can be hunted here are the Burchells zebra, Greater kudu, common impala, black wildebeest, spotted hyena and lechwe. The camp is situated in the centre of Camelthorn, Mopane and Lech wood forests. The true East African style canvas tents can accommodate two guests and the camp in total can sleep 10 pax at a time. The thatched roof dining area is a refreshing oasis where one can relax after an excited day’s hunt. Commercial flights are available to Mpacha airport in Katima Millilo or alternatively a 3 hours charter flight
